Our Client is a leading name in the world of Field Marketing for the FMCG/Retail Industry, allied closely with the Food & Drink, Supermarket and Health & Beauty industry.
Due to exciting Business Objectives & Remit, they are looking to recruit for an expert in Business Development & Experiential Field Marketing to Develop both New & Existing Business, working with Clients to Devise New Campaigns, from Bid, Quote & Tender Stage through to Campaign Management.
This is an exciting and highly dynamic role in which you will be tasked with Identifying & Bringing in New Clients, Offering a Range of Services including Field Marketing & Promotions, Demonstrations, Events, Exhibitions, Road Shows, Merchandising & Mystery Shopping, Expanding the Business & Providing New Revenue Streams by Securing & Retaining Business, and Identifying & Maximising New Prospects, whether they be from your Own Leads or Direct Enquiries, to Ensure Clients have the potential for High Volume, Sustained & Repeat Business across Multiple Sectors.
Highly Sales Driven role which will see you on the road frequently around the UK , Meeting with Clients & Providing an Excellent Solution Based Sales Service to fit their Business Model, Demonstrating New Ideas & Concepts within Experiential Field Marketing & Promotions backed up by Statistical Data.
Key Responsibilities will include the following:
- Strong Understanding of both Traditional & New Field Marketing Concepts, from Promotions, Events, Exhibitions & Displays through to New Media Concepts
- Personal Responsibility for New Customer Development Producing Sales of Circa ?1Million per Annum
- Managing Bids, Quotes & Tender Processes
- Writing Detailed Business Quotes, Proposals & Tenders
- Research & Develop Plans In Line with New Business Sales Process for Agreed Target Client Lists
- Produce Best in Class Pitch Documentation & Financial Submissions for Clients
- Present the company in Highly Professional & Competent Manner to Sales Director/Marketing Director Level Contacts
Skills & Experience required for the role would include:
- Strong Business Development/Account Management Sales experience within Retail/FMCG, Professional Services or Field Marketing
- Expertise & Network of Contacts in any of the above Sectors is a distinct advantage.
- Thorough Understanding of Cost/Profit Drivers & Business Development Techniques
- Highly Polished Customer Facing Professional
- Strong Business Level Presentation & Negotiation Skills
- Strategic Understanding of Clients' Businesses & Marketing Tools across a wide range of Industries.
- Self-Motivated, Lateral Thinking Individual who is extremely Proactive & Tenacious
- Full UK Driving License
